Dragons are a large group of mammals defined primarily by their front limbs which have been modified into membranous wings. Specific species of dragon range from carnivory to omnivory and avovory. Dragons play an important part in various world cultures. Large species of dragon are though nearly extinct in the Old World, but appear to maintain large populations and territories across the New World.
