Purple Lung, also known as Mage’s Lung or Wizard’s Lung, is a disease most often caused by the inhalation of limn, though it may also rarely develop as a result of the natural diffusion of limn throughout the body. Purple Lung is characterized by the development of a persistent cough and difficulty breathing which consistently grows worse over time. It gets its name from the faint purple color and glow which victim’s lungs exhibit on post-mortem examination.
